2 Day Trek
If you have time we recommend this tour because it combines a rigorous jungle trek and cultural experience on day 1, and a full day of activities on Day 2. Spend a night at a home stay and experience village life firsthand. We encourage you to use your tour guide as a source of information on cultures, customs, and traditions of the local people.
Day 1 of our two day tour starts at 8:30 with a tuk tuk ride to a nearby village. From there we hike for about 2 hours to the Khmu and Hmong village of NaLuang. There we break for lunch.
After lunch and saying good bye to the children, we start our serious trek into the jungle.
About 4 hours we will make it to the riverside village of Houy Hoi where we will have our homestay.
Day 2 is more activities and less trekking. Mung Ngoi Viewpoint, Tad Mok waterfall, and finish off with Kayaking down the Nam Ou river towards Nong Khiaw. It has the same itiniery as our 1 day adventure tour.

Cool off with a swim and picnic lunch by the refreshing Tak Mok waterfall
Finish the trip with a beautiful view of the sunset from your Kayak.
