1 Day Adventure Tour
This is our most popular tour if you're short on time-we visit Mung Ngoi Viewpoint and Cave, Tad Mok Waterfall, Yesebai organic farm, and then enjoy the sunset from your Kayak as you stroll down the Nam Ou River. We cover all the great spots and activities in one day. If you visit Mung Ngoi you will either have to rent a boat for a day trip or spend the night as there is only one public boat back to Nong Khiaw from Mung Ngoi.
We start the day with a boat ride from Nong Khiaw to Mung Ngoi Viewpoint and Cave. It's a 20 minute climb to the viewpoint. Halfway up there is cave you can explore. The cave was used as a hiding spot from bombs during the war. After the cave we make our way up to the Viewpoint. Although not as high as other viewpoints, it does give a magnificent view of the Mung Nhoi and the Name OU river. We can stroll through the quaint village of Mung Ngoi-the second most visited village next to Nong Nhiaw.
After Mung Ngoi, we visit Tad Mok Waterfull. After an hour hike through the rice fields and farms, you can cool off in the refreshing pool of this waterfall. Here we will break enjoy a picnic lunch beside the waterfall.
From the waterfall we will pay a brief visit to Yesabai Orgainic Farm. This farm attracts a lot of international volunteers. Here you can relax, have a smoothie and take a bathroom break.
We end our fun filled day with an one hour of kayaking. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset from the water as you head back to Nong Khiaw.
All transportations, entrance tickets, picnic lunch and bottle water is included in the price. You will only need to bring trekking sandals, hat, swim suit, and mosquito repellent.
